On May 16th, 2023, the Mohammed I. Alsubeaei & Sons Investment Company (MASIC) concluded the awarding ceremony for Esameyoon initiative on its 5th season with a grand closing ceremony held at the Movenpick Hotel in Riyadh. The event was attended by MASIC’s leadership and representatives from the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at), Saudi Industrial Development Fund, Social Development Bank, Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, Dulani Business Center, Riyadah, Namal Impact Investment Co., Wothoq Technologies, Business Clinics, Asharqia Chamber, Qassim Chamber, Makkah Chamber, Al Ahsa Chamber and IntQal Platform, along with public figures within the entrepreneurship sector from both the public and private sectors.
The Esameyoon initiative is one of MASIC’s social impact initiatives and aims to honor entrepreneurs and executive leaders who have made inspiring stories in the business world. The winners were awarded in four tracks: Esamey Personality, Commercial, Industrial, and Social Entrepreneurship.
At the awarding ceremony, Mazen AlDarrab, founder of Zid for e-commerce, was announced as the winner of the Esamey Personality Award for 2023. Mohammed Al-Dale, founder and director of Direct, won the Business Track Award. Sultan Salem Al-Quthami, CEO of Organic Standards for Fertilizer Production, won the Industrial Track Award. Meshal Al-Harasani, founder of Tarteel, won the Social Entrepreneurship Track Award. Each winner received a cash prize of 100,000 Riyals in recognition of their efforts and success and to encourage them to continue their journey in the business world.
